Graphic Design

I minored in Graphic Design because I was passionate about perfecting my ability to work using the Adobe Creative Suit. During my education at SCAD, I got the experience of working on a team to design branding, typography and other design work using mainly Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Through group work, I learned that Graphic Design is the contemporary tool to create identity and modern technology is the most efficient way to develop them. In my Graphic Design work, I enjoy including elements that are handmade to give the work a deeper connection to the viewer. I juxtapose handmade and digital by scanning traditional work, editing it in Adobe Photoshop and refining and finishing the work in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.

Advertising campaign for a mock exhibit for Artists and Designers during the 19th and 20th centuries in Japan at the High Museum in Atlanta. After extensive research, I created an advertisement poster and brochure for the exhibit using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Procreate. My intention with these designs was to inform the viewer about the exhibition, while tastefully celebrating the works of the period.
