For this collection, I wanted to create patterns inspired by sunlights reflection on the ocean. I used linocut printing then, scanning them to repeat in Adobe Illustrator to create a handmade feel in my patterns that is both nostalgic and modern. I grew up along the coast of Southern Maine and both being in the ocean and enjoying time outdoors with loved ones has always made me feel the most at home and I wanted to recreate that feeling in this collection in a style more connected to my current twenty-two year old self.
